What happens to the insurance if the arrival is postponed?
Short answer
If your au pair's arrival is postponed, please inform the Dr.-Walter-Au-pair-Versicherung before the originally agreed insurance start date and before the first payment is collected. The insurance can be put on hold, or the start date adjusted, until the actual arrival.

What lies behind it
As soon as the new arrival date is fixed, inform Dr. Walter again so that the insurance takes effect from the actual day of arrival.
It is important that you yourself remember to inform the insurance in good time about the postponement and, afterwards, about the new start date.
