How long does the processing of the au pair visa take?

What lies behind it

In many countries of origin, processing time is usually around 2 to 6 weeks from the Botschaftstermin (the appointment at the German embassy). However, depending on how busy the authorities are and the individual procedure, processing can also take longer.

As an agency, we have no influence on the processing time or the decision of the relevant authorities.
