Führungszeugnis for foster families

Many of our host families have foster children and need the au pair's Führungszeugnis (a police certificate of good conduct) for the responsible Jugendamt (the German youth welfare office).

In principle this is not a problem: every one of our au pairs must provide a Führungszeugnis before departure. As this is applied for by many au pairs only after matching, we simply ask you to let us know early if you need the document additionally for your Jugendamt.

We then pass this information on to our partner agency in the home country and make sure the Führungszeugnis is available accordingly.

Our tip: simply mention the need explicitly again during the matching process – then everyone involved knows about it and the matter can be planned in directly.
