Is there a medical certificate?
Short answer
Yes. Every au pair provides a Gesundheitszeugnis (health certificate) before departure. To obtain it, the au pair has a medical examination in its home country by a doctor, following our template. The issued Gesundheitszeugnis is then filed in the au pair profile and can be viewed by the host family.

How the medical examination works
Alongside the Führungszeugnis (police certificate of good conduct), a medical Gesundheitszeugnis (health certificate) is also among the documents our au pairs provide before departure.
For this, the au pair receives a standard template from us and is examined in its home country by a doctor. The doctor confirms the examination and issues the corresponding Gesundheitszeugnis.
The au pair then uploads the certificate to its au pair profile. This way, you as the host family can see before arrival that the Gesundheitszeugnis is available.
